Bourne Ultimatum Author Scott Z. Burns has lined up a big-name cast, Such as Annette Bening, Adam Notebook and Jon Hamm, Because of his new CIA Play The Torture Report. VICE Studios will produce the film which centers on the CIA’s very real post-9/11 rendition and interrogation application, an attempt that came under intense scrutiny in the media and Congress.

Burns formerly wrote the scripts for three Steven Soderbergh films, The Informant! , Contagion and Negative Effects. His only prior feature film directorial effort is PU-239, a play about a nuclear power plant worker peddling stolen plutonium.





According to Deadline, Burns has lined up many big name celebrities to star in his second movie. Annette Bening, Adam Driver, Jon Hamm, and Jennifer Morrison have been in discussions for The Torture Report, that Burns will write and direct. Specifics of these celebrities’ particular characters have yet to be reported. Danny Gabai, Eddy Moretti, Jennifer Fox, Michael Sugar, Steven Soderbergh, and Kerry Orent are recorded as producers on the job with Burns himself.

This past Year, Bening received a BAFTA nomination for her performance as film star Gloria Grahame from the play Film Stars Don’t Die In Liverpool. Driver needless to say is coming off his performance because Kylo Ren at just a tiny sequel known as Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Especially, Driver plays an advertisement man who goes on an adventure with all the die-hard prospective knight errant of Miguel de Cervantes’ famous publication in Gilliam’s movie.

Hamm also is keeping quite busy, with characters lined up in Neil Gaiman’s Good Omens, Noah Hawley’s Pale Blue Dot along with the ridiculous comedy Tag co-starring Jeremy Renner, Ed Helms, and Isla Fisher. He now stars as a hostage negotiator in Beirut, yet another timely play between affairs from the Middle East. Morrison, meanwhile, could play a detective at the forthcoming Blaxploitation movie Superfly. Morrison’s long-time gig on Once Upon a Time is obviously fully coming to a finish with the show wrapping up following the current season.
