How to bypass HDCP to record or stream gaming on your protected console
A lot of people have an issue with current consoles, their HDCP(high definition copy protection), and wanting to either stream or record their gameplay. If you are having an issue with your Playstation 4, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 or Xbox One in the issue of streaming or recording your game because of the HDCP, look no further, here is the easy and cheap solution to your woes!
This is how to bypass HDCP to record or stream gaming on your protected console.
Things You Need
Firstly, you need to connect an HDMI cable from your console to the HDMI splitter.
Secondly, You need to take one HDMI from the splitter to your tv.
Lastly, You need to take one HDMI from the splitter to your recorder.
You have now successfully bypassed your console’s HDCP!
Alternatively with an HDMI switch if you have multiple consoles you wish to record, you need to connect all your consoles to the switch, connect the switch output to the splitter then steps 2 and 3 above are exactly the same.
